Muse AI Invite Code Not Working? 7 Real Fixes Before Your 48 Hours End

You joined Muse, tried to redeem your free tokens, and the code failed. Maybe it said “invalid,” maybe “already used,” or maybe you cannot find the redeem option at all.
Take a breath. Most failures are simple and fixable, but you must act fast — you can redeem only within 48 hours of joining, and only ONE code per new account.
This guide covers the seven common causes, in the right order, for mobile and web. If you have not redeemed yet, start with the clean steps here: How to Get Free Muse Tokens in 48 Hours
Three truths before you troubleshoot
One code per new account. The codes below are alternatives — they do not stack. Your own Usage screen decides the final bonus. Check that screen and trust it over any video promise. And an invite code cannot bypass region or waitlist limits. Muse is US/Canada-first as it rolls out. Full honesty here: Muse AI Account and Country Availability
Fix 1: Check the 48-hour clock
This is the top cause of failure. If you created your account two or three days ago, the window may already be closed and the redeem option may be gone. There is no secret reset.
If you are still inside 48 hours, do not “do it later.” Work through the fixes below now and redeem as soon as one works. Tell friends you invite to redeem in the first 10 minutes after signup — that habit prevents almost all problems.
Fix 2: You are in the wrong menu
On mobile: Settings > Redeem token.
On web (muse.ai): Settings > General > Usage > Redeem invite code.
You will not find it under Profile, Billing or Help. Also confirm you are logged into the correct new account, not an older test account with a different email.
Use ONE of these invite codes within 48 hours of joining:
BF3ONJ
Z4BKSL
CQOG4J
Use only ONE code per new account. If one shows used-up or invalid on your screen, try the next. The bonus amount is whatever your own redeem/Usage screen shows.
Disclosure: These are my invite codes. If you redeem one, both of us may receive the bonus shown on our screens. There is no cash value promise, and the final amount is always what your own account displays.
Fix 3: Copy the code exactly
A trailing space from copy-paste breaks codes. So does mistaking O for 0 or I for 1. Type the code slowly by hand and check each character.
If BF3ONJ shows invalid or used-up, calmly try Z4BKSL, then CQOG4J. Shared public codes can reach their limit at different times — that is why we list three backups. Once one succeeds, stop. You are done.
Never pay anyone who asks for your password, card or login code to “fix” redemption. Real redeeming happens only inside your own Muse account.
Fix 4: It may already have worked
Sometimes the code succeeded but the screen did not refresh, so the next try shows “already redeemed.” Before trying another code, check your balance: web Settings > General > Usage, or mobile Settings / usage area.
If tokens are already there, you do not need another code. Take a screenshot of Usage for your own record so you can see later what each task used.
Fix 5: The redeem option is missing
If the correct path shows no redeem option, the likely reasons are: the 48 hours passed, you are not on a new account, or the app/browser is showing a cached screen.
Close and reopen the app. On web, hard-refresh, log out and back in once, and update the app if an update is waiting. Then check the exact Settings path again. If you joined minutes ago, wait 10–15 minutes — new accounts sometimes need a short moment for all menu items to appear. If you joined days ago, the missing option usually means the window closed. Do not create extra accounts to chase a code; that can break the rules.
Fix 6: Region or waitlist is blocking you
Muse access is rolling out US/Canada-first. If you are outside a supported region or still on a waitlist, the redeem flow may fail and no code can change that. A code does not bypass region limits, and VPN tricks are risky advice.
Check your account status and read our explainer on signup, waitlist and country availability. If you do have full access and are inside 48 hours, region is not your issue — return to Fixes 1–5.
Fix 7: Start light once it works
Tokens are a usage balance, spent as Muse works. Video and long background tasks spend faster than short chat — that is normal, not a bug.
When your code succeeds, start small: summarise a document, draft a plan, organise notes. Check Usage before and after. Then try one image, then one short video with beginner steps here: Make AI Videos and Images with Muse. For lighter ideas, see 12 Real Uses for Muse Tokens.
Quick checklist
Correct new account? Within 48 hours? Right path — mobile Settings > Redeem token, web Settings > General > Usage > Redeem invite code? Code typed with no spaces or wrong characters? Tried BF3ONJ, then Z4BKSL, then CQOG4J, one at a time? Checked Usage to see if one already worked? Restarted app or refreshed browser? Most cases are solved by item two or three.
FAQs
Why does my code say “already used” when I never used it? Shared public codes can hit their limit. Try the next code in the list.
Can I redeem a second code for more tokens? No. One redemption per new account. After one success, others will fail — that is expected.
I missed 48 hours. Can it be extended? We cannot promise that. Redeem immediately after signup next time, and check your account for any offer shown on screen.
Should I pay someone to redeem for me? Never. No one needs your password, card or login code. Redeem only inside your own account.
Where do I confirm tokens arrived? Your Usage screen — web Settings > General > Usage, mobile Settings / balance area. That screen is the truth.
Final word
A failed code is annoying, especially with the clock ticking. But most failures are a wrong menu, a tiny typo, a missed window, or one shared code reaching its limit. Work through the fixes calmly, use one code only, and trust your own Usage screen over any online promise.
